Two sessions, 4 hours total, the perfect balance for your busy schedule and your learning.

What you will learn:

• How to hold the crochet hook and yarn
• The slip knot and foundation chain
• Single crochet
• Half double crochet and double crochet
• How to fix your mistakes and keep going

Your project: Crochet Twisted Ear Warmer / Headband

From your very first chain to your last fasten off, you'll learn the foundations of crochet and have a cozy twisted ear warmer to show for it. This pattern is exclusive to Stitch and Revel and customizable to fit you, so you'll walk away with a piece made just for your head, your way.

Materials (not included)

• Worsted weight yarn (weight 4), light color - easier to see your stitches while you're learning. We recommend Cascade 220 Superwash or Malabrigo Rios, both available right here in the shop.
• Size J/10 (6mm) crochet hook, available here in the shop.

Why beginners choose us

Our custom Learn to Crochet class was designed with you in mind. Whether you're picking up a hook for the very first time or you've tried before and it didn't quite stick. A class that moved too fast, a friend who couldn't quite explain it, or it's just been a while, it usually comes down to the same moment: you look down at your crochet and think, "Wait… what happened?"

That's exactly what we built this class around, not just learning the stitches, but knowing what to do when something goes a little sideways. We meet everyone where they are in their learning journey, before, during, and after class. Our goal is for you to leave not only knowing how to crochet, but feeling confident enough to keep going on your own.

It's built for busy schedules, too. Offered evenings (6:00–8:00pm) and capped at just 6 students for real, hands-on attention. You'll leave with a new skill, an exclusive customizable pattern, and new crochet friends.

Materials Discount, Materials Prep & Class Policies (Please Read)

• Class Policies: At Stitch & Revel, our classes are designed to be joyful, creative, and welcoming. We want to make sure every student has the best experience possible. Seats are reserved on a first-come basis once payment is received, and classes require at least 3 students to run. If we need to cancel due to low enrollment, we’ll notify you at least 24 hours in advance and provide a full refund.
• Student Responsibility: If you need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days before class for a full refund. Cancellations made 3–6 days prior are eligible for a partial refund, and cancellations less than 3 days before class are non-refundable. It is the student’s responsibility to arrive at least 5 minutes early so class can begin promptly.
• Registered students receive a 10% discount on class materials, and we recommend purchasing everything in advance to ensure you’re fully prepared. Yarn needs to be wound before class starts. 

Please note, missed classes cannot be made up or credited. If you are taking a multi-session course and know you’ll miss a date, kindly let your instructor know.
