Welcome to Stitch & Revel: your new favorite local yarn shop

We are a cozy, boutique-style yarn shop nestled in Livermore, California’s beautiful wine country in the Bay Area, just east of San Francisco. Since opening our doors in September 2025, we’ve been bringing creativity, community, and joy to every stitch.

Step inside to browse, feel, and fall in love with your next project. We believe the experience is just as important as the yarn itself. Currently as an in-store-only shop, we invite you to slow down, explore, and connect. Whether you knit, crochet, or create in any fiber form, makers of all levels are warmly welcomed here.

Unforgettable Fiber Experiences

At Stitch & Revel, creativity and connection come alive through unforgettable experiences. From weekly social stitching and our monthly Book Club with a Fiber Twist, to seasonal and holiday-themed events, Crafts at the Cinema, Sip & Stitch gatherings at local wineries, and premium experiences like our Sip & Stitch Wine Trolley tour, there’s always something to look forward to. With signature stitch-themed craft dates and retreats in the works, the fun is just getting started.

Learn, Create & Grow

At Stitch & Revel, learning is part of the joy. Our monthly classes welcome beginners and support makers growing their skills, with Intro to Knitting and Crochet series designed to meet you where you are.

We also offer hands-on, project-based workshops to build skills and spark creativity, plus our weekly Kids Crochet class for young makers to learn and have fun.

Led by our warm, experienced instructors and inspiring guest teachers, our classes create a space to learn, make, and build confidence in your new skill, no matter your skill level.

Community & Collaboration  Sanjani loves partnering with local businesses across Livermore and the greater Tri-Valley (and beyond) to create fun, fiber-filled events and one-of-a-kind experiences that bring our creative community together.

Why the name Stitch & Revel?

I wanted a name that felt like a “third home” for every fiber maker. “Stitch” connects us across all crafts, and “Revel” captures the joy and excitment of creating.

S & R are my initials and my family’s: Ravi, Rania, Shyra, and even our cats, Stitch and Rebel.

It’s more than a name, it’s what we do here: revel in every stitch.

Meet the Owner

The Beginning of a Fiber Journey
Sanjani’s fiber journey began in 2012, when she learned to crochet after the passing of her father, helping her mom find comfort and discovering her own love for fiber arts.

A Dream Takes Shape
She envisioned a yarn shop that felt welcoming, joyful, and inclusive for all makers. A “Hallmark movie” dream that became reality in summer 2025.

Bringing the Vision to Life
Stitch & Revel was created as more than a shop. It’s a space to connect, learn, and create. When a local yarn shop was closing, Sanjani saw an opportunity to keep one in the community and reimagined it as a vibrant, modern fiber hub.

Taking the Leap
With encouragement from her husband Ravi, she took the leap, and Stitch & Revel opened its doors in September 2025.

Heart & Roots

Born in Fiji and raised in the Bay Area, Sanjani brings her island warmth, community spirit, and joyful creativity into everything she does. The heart of the cozy, vibrant energy you feel in the shop.

A Family Business

Stitch & Revel is truly a family business. Her husband, aka Mr. Stitch & Revel runs the tech department and often jumps in at the register on busy days.

Their twin daughters, Rania & Shyra, are part of the creative buzz -both crocheters, with one also a needle felter. And Mr. Stitch & Revel? Still deciding between Team Knit or Team Crochet?
