Join us for Round Four of Crafts at the Cinema at Vine Cinema in Livermore! Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, needlepoint, or any quiet portable craft.

The theater lights will be dimmed halfway so you can comfortably craft while you watch. Neck lights are encouraged.

Get ready to sip, stitch, and sing along with mimosas, coffee, fresh popcorn, pretzels, and more available for purchase.

✨ After the movie, stop by Stitch & Revel for a little post-movie shopping. Crafts at the Cinema ticket holders receive 10% off their purchase that day (excluding trunk shows, events, and classes).

Crafts at the Cinema: FAQs

What is Crafts at the Cinema? Will it be dark? Crafts at the Cinema is a private movie screening with the lights softly dimmed—just enough so you can comfortably craft while you watch. Bring a project and enjoy the perfect pairing: a great movie and making. You’re welcome to bring a neck light if you’d like a little extra brightness. Curious what it’s like? Can I bring any craft project? We welcome quiet, portable crafts - fiber, fabric, coloring, etc.  Think knitting, crochet, needle crafts (embroidery, cross stitch, needlepoint), English paper piecing, sashiko, slow stitching, or other small handwork/craft that’s easy to carry and enjoy during the movie.

Do I have to bring a craft? Not at all. You’re welcome to simply come and enjoy the movie. Crafts are welcome but not required.

Will there be enough light to see my stitches? The theater lights are softly dimmed, not completely dark. Many guests are able to work on their craft, and some also like to bring neck lights for extra brightness.

Where do I get tickets? This is a private event and tickets are available exclusively through Stitch & Revel.

How do tickets work? No physical movie ticket will be sent. Please keep your order confirmation receipt. Check-in will be at the door where we will check off names on our guest list.

Can I sit with my friends? Yes! There is no assigned seating. Seats are first come, first selection, so you can choose spots together and sit with your friends.

What’s included in the ticket? Your ticket includes admission to the private movie screening for Crafts at the Cinema. Concessions are not included. Mimosas and other beverages, along with all your favorite movie snacks, will be available for purchase at the concession stand. 

Can I bring food or drinks? The Vine Cinema concession stand will be open from when doors open for this event, and throughout the movie. They have snacks and drinks, my personal favorites are the freshly popped popcorn and a mimosa. You’ll also find other snacks, coffee and other non-alcoholic drinks available to enjoy while you sip, snack, and stitch. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
