Knit Class: Quick-Knit Faux Cable Hat- Sat Dec 6th 12-2pm

Knit A Bulky Mock Cable Hat (Confident Beginner)  Ages 16+

Inspired by a free pattern from the lovely Kate Wise on Ravelry, this project gives you that gorgeous cabled look, with no actual cabling required (yes, really!). Using a simple 4-row repeat, some satisfyingly bulky yarn, and larger needles, you’ll whip up a cozy hat in just a few hours. It’s the perfect quick make for holiday gifting, maker swaps, or keeping someone you love extra snug… including yourself.

Prerequisites (you should feel comfy with):

-Cast on stitches

-Knit and purl

-Work flat (back-and-forth) knitting

You will learn:

In this class, you will learn how to:

-Knit in the round using circular needles

-Create a ribbed band for a neat, stretchy edge

-Work a simple repeat stitch pattern

-Shape your project by decreasing (for hat crown shaping)

Class Policies:  At Stitch & Revel, our classes are designed to be joyful, creative, and welcoming—and we want to make sure every student has the best experience possible. Seats are reserved on a first-come basis once payment is received, and classes require at least 3 students to run. If we need to cancel due to low enrollment, we’ll notify you at least 24 hours in advance and provide a full refund.

Student Responsibility: If you need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days before class for a full refund. Cancellations made 3–6 days prior are eligible for a partial refund, and cancellations less than 3 days before class are non-refundable. It is the student’s responsibility to arrive at least 5 minutes early so class can begin promptly. Please note, missed classes cannot be made up or credited. If you are taking a multi-session course and know you’ll miss a date, kindly let your instructor know.

Purchasing Materials for Class: All materials must be ready to go the day of class. Yarn must be purchased and wound no later than the day before class—we are not able to wind yarn right before class begins. Registered students receive a 10% discount on class materials, and we recommend purchasing everythng in advance to ensure you are fully prepared.
