Ready to level up your knitting? In this friendly class, confident beginners will learn how to knit in the round and work a simple rib stitch to create a soft, wearable cowl—perfect for gifts or for you!

Who it’s for (prerequisite)
This class is for confident beginners who already know how to:

-Cast on

-Knit (K)

-Purl (P)

You’ll learn

-Knitting in the round on circular needles

-Rib stitch (e.g., K1/P1 or K2/P2) and how ribbing affects stretch/fit

-Joining without twisting, placing stitch markers, and binding off neatly

-Simple finishing: weave in ends and light blocking tips

Class Policies:  At Stitch & Revel, our classes are designed to be joyful, creative, and welcoming—and we want to make sure every student has the best experience possible. Seats are reserved on a first-come basis once payment is received, and classes require at least 3 students to run. If we need to cancel due to low enrollment, we’ll notify you at least 24 hours in advance and provide a full refund.

Student Responsibility: If you need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days before class for a full refund. Cancellations made 3–6 days prior are eligible for a partial refund, and cancellations less than 3 days before class are non-refundable. It is the student’s responsibility to arrive at least 5 minutes early so class can begin promptly.

Materials: All materials must be ready to go the day of class. Yarn must be purchased and wound no later than the day before class—we are not able to wind yarn right before class begins. Registered students receive a 10% discount on class materials, and we recommend purchasing everything in advance to ensure you’re fully prepared.

Please note, missed classes cannot be made up or credited. If you are taking a multi-session course and know you’ll miss a date, kindly let your instructor know.
